Free Textile Recycling
May 18-25, The City of Prior Lake is teaming with USAgain for our first ever textile recycling event. USAgain is a for profit company that collects unwanted textiles and resells them in the US and abroad, effectively diverting millions of pounds of clothing from landfills.
Recycle Bins will be available in the parking lot of the Maintenance Center for one week collecting clothing (including shoes), bedding, towels and more.
In turn the funds made from this collection will be donated directly to the CAP Food Shelf. So clean out those closets and support your local food shelf.
